Oracle Message of the Day
Today is Lughnasadh, it is the first of our harvest Sabbats and the last of our fire festivals as we enter into the fall. LANASA means August in Gaelic. It is when the God Lugh (God of light, God of fire, God of the harvest) is cut down. Lugh is the King of the Tuatha da Danann and its the consort of Danu (Great Mother Goddess of all Goddesses in Ireland). Even though the Lord is slain, the Great Goddess is still pregnant with more harvest to come. Happy Lughnasadh and may your harvest be plentiful!
Blessings
